Yoga & Meditation Retreats
The retreats provide an opportunity to indulge in the full yoga experience, clarifying and deepening our understanding of yoga practice. They provide the space for us to let go of the pressures of our day to day lives. The retreats give us time to explore more subtle aspect of ourselves and gain an experiential understanding of the philosophical underpinnings that guide the practice. We run several retreats throughout the year and are generally suitable for all levels of experience. (unless otherwise stated). Each retreat has a specific focus within the context of an integrated program.

BALI
YOGA & MEDITATION
RETREAT
with Paul Wooden
July 7th – 17th, 2011
Join us in the exquisite atmosphere of Bali as we explore a rich and integrated yoga practice.
The Balinese culture is steeped in mythology, a sense of the divine and a deep honouring of the earth and all of life. Bali is an exquisitely beautiful place, where spirit is woven seamlessly into the very fabric of daily life.
It is a deeply supportive place for yoga, a profoundly relaxing place to inquire into what is important in our lives.
A yoga retreat provides the time and space to explore and open to all aspects of our lives. Yoga aims to open us through the confines of habitual coping strategies in our bodies, energy, emotion and mind. Each day we explore more ways to unravel, to soften, to release, to gradually invite a natural ease, stability and openness to life.
Join us for an experiential journey through the rich terrain of asana, pranayama, kriya, relaxation, mantra and meditation and a shared inquiry into philosophy and life to help clarify and open our way forward.
A great time to stop , take stock and make space for something new and fresh to open in us.
There is plenty of time in the program to explore local Balinese life, to walk through the rice fields, to have massages, to rest by the pool and to explore some of the many excellent restaurants in the area.
This retreat is being held in Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali.
