Tas Manolopoulos is a registered Transpersonal Counsellor and Psychotherapist. He trained, and currently works at, the Phoenix Institute of Australia - the leaders in Hollistic Counselling in Australia; and is also registered with the AAHTC – the Australian Association of Holistic and Transpersonal Counsellors. He has a strong background in Yoga and Movement Therapy and is passionate about issues of identity and human potential. He uses Existential, Person Centred and Gestalt frameworks to help people with issues of identity, anxiety, sexuality, trauma and life transitions. He uses dreamwork and Emotion Based Therapy to help men and women gain access to their Psychological, Spiritual and Emotional wellbeing. He loves a good laugh, good friends, and insists on maximizing our conscious contact with who we really are, as much as we possibly can.



Specializing in:

Transpersonal therapy sessions allow us to consider who we really are underneath all that we’ve come to believe about ourselves and the world. Sometimes in the forming of patterns for everyday survival, we lose a real connection to ourselves and our feelings. Our definition of being ‘responsible’ is often clouded by other people’s expectations and, somewhere along the way, we stop responding to our own needs and wants. To compensate for this loss, we reach out for things and form attachments to behaviors which we come to believe are who we are.

Person Centred Therapy allows us to re discover the simplicity of being we once knew. It creates a direct pathway to all that exists underneath our patterns and conditioning. By focusing on how we are feeling and by creating space for our thoughts, emotions and feelings to breathe, we realign ourselves to a deep sense of knowing and to the innate healing potential that exists for all of us.

Transpersonal work bridges the gap between the Psychological and the Spiritual. It encourages us to listen to the whispers of our hearts and to re direct our attention away from the cacophony of our minds. Our sessions are completely client focused and are based entirely on re establishing your connection to your own core sense of wellness.

Our time is your time for you to navigate a pathway to this wellness. We use breath work, dream work and focusing techniques to validate and language all of your experiences - both good and bad. Healing is your birthright and to exist with inner harmony is what we are here for. We form new tools of survival which will help you with making informed life choices. All it takes is your desire to be happy.

Sessions are available after work hours and on Saturdays. Short term sessions are welcomed and can be held weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or as you need them. Our programmes are designed to suit you. For those needing urgent attention, last minute sessions are available on most days and at no extra cost

Price Structure:

One on one counselling (per hour):
Initial session: $50.00
Regular sessions: $90.00
Block Booking of 4 sessions: $80.00 per session
(couples are welcomed at negotiated prices)
