Nancy is a life-long student and practitioner of the healing arts. She offers Yoga Nidra, Reiki, and Tarot consultations. Her belief that the body-mind-spirit contains the wisdom to balance and heal itself informs all her work.
Nancy came of age in the late 1960’s and early 70’s in California. Being outside at the ocean or hiking in the mountains always provided profound experiences for her and allowed for greater connection between her personal inner world and the greater, all encompassing energy that surrounds everything that exists, visible and invisible.
Over the years, she has studied psychology, body mechanics, deep tissue massage, shiatsu massage, yoga, astrology, tarot, herbology, and Steiner Education.
These days Nancy mostly works with people on an energetic level although she always loved the more physical massage work, and is forever grateful for all that she has learned about the wonders of the human form. The greatest gift she has received and nurtured over the years is the awareness of the body-mind-spirit connection and the huge part Breath plays in uniting them. Her joy is helping others to find balance, integration and peace within their own body-mind-spirit.

Yoga Nidra is a sleep based guided meditation which allows the body to deeply restore itself and balance excess stress. Using body, breath and awareness techniques the client is able to move from thinking and doing, to feeling and being.
It is said that 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra is as restorative as several hours of sleep.
Sessions are received lying down on a yoga mat, using whatever props will contribute to making the client warm and comfortable. Blankets, bolsters, and eye masks are made available and will contribute to the client’s comfort and stillness during the session. There is no physical touch given during a Yoga Nidra session. The energy and voice of the facilitator guides the client to enter profoundly deep states of consciousness.
Nancy facilitates private Yoga Nidra sessions for 1-3 people.

Reiki assists the body’s natural ability to balance and restore itself at the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. Reiki is a Japanese word meaning “universal life force energy.” This traditional “laying on of the hands” healing art technique has been practiced throughout history; it was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui Sensei of Japan in the 1920’s.
Reiki sessions are received on a massage table with clothes on. Reiki is a gentle hands-on and hands-above the body relaxation technique that promotes stress-reduction, health and healing. The practitioner acts as the vehicle through which Reiki flows. Reiki, the energy itself, is the healer.
60min - $90
The Tarot is a visual map of consciousness and a symbolic system that offers insight into the professional contribution, personal motives, and spiritual development of each individual. As a map of consciousness, the Tarot represents a facet of the total life experience incorporating the “practical-everyday world” with the spiritual growth and evolution of each person.
— A. Arrien
Nancy has used and studied Tarot for many years and approaches the cards as symbols from a psychological, mythological, and cross-cultural perspective. Just as psychological and spiritual information is revealed to us in dreams or contemplative states, the Tarot functions as an outer mirror of external experiences and internal psychological states as well. The Tarot deck that Nancy uses was illustrated by Lady Freida Harris, and it reveals the universal principles that are experienced cross culturally, not only from a Western perspective.
The foundation of Nancy’s work with Tarot is the belief that the symbols found on each Tarot card function as a way that the mind and heart can be opened to the wonder of what is going on with the individual, internally and externally at that moment in time.
Nancy offers several different types of Tarot consultations, and it is necessary to have a short phone call with her to discuss which best suits one’s needs and interests.

Alaine has had a curiosity for philosophy, spirituality, nature and the human condition since she was a small girl.
In 2015 Alaine began peeling back the layers of her own birth chart. What was found was a complete breakdown of her own inner workings, planet by planet. With this information Alaine discovered deep compassion for herself. There are reasons why we are the way we are. Astrology helped her on her own pathway of self-love and self-discovery. When she started to read for other people, she found total joy in helping others tap into this too.
Since 2015 Alaine has been passionately studying the rhythms of the Sun, Moon and planets, observing their connection to global events, collective consciousness and individual human experiences.
Alaine is passionate about understanding the human experience in both physical and spiritual forms, from a yin-yang perspective. She holds deep respect and finds equal importance for both science and spirituality and approaches her consultations in the same manner.
Alaine’s intentions behind these Astrological Consultations is to offer greater self-awareness, particularly of their personal karmic cycles and lessons. With self-awareness we gain power and can use this towards self-healing. Alaine can shed light on your potentials but it is up to you to put in the action to ponder, create and heal.
Astrology is a multifaceted, mathematical language that allows us to read how our individual and collective experiences fit into the bigger picture.

Natal Chart Reading
Most people know what their “star” sign or Sun sign is, which is a 1 in 12 chance of what it will be. When only looking at this, Astrology can seem quite general but this is not the true essence of Astrology. When looking at your natal chart, we use your exact time, place and date of your birth. With this information we are able to draw a map of exactly what the sky looked like at the moment of your birth, from the placement of the planets, asteroids and some key mathematical points used in Astrology. This map is called a Natal or Birth Chart. This chart is unique to you and will not repeat for approximately 25,000 years.
As an Evolutionary Astrologer, my key aim is to look into the evolution of the soul. This method is based on the concept of reincarnation and I use my understanding of Yoga philosophy and Buddhist philosophy to break down the chart into cycles of lessons or karma. We are able to explore what you have mastered in a past life, abilities and traits that you have brought through and your comfort zone. I can see where the soul needs to explore this lifetime and help you find your dharma. We can look into personality traits, habits and strengths and we can peer into your weaknesses and find how to turn them into strengths, to best serve yourself and the people around you.
60min - $100
After having an initial natal chart reading, allowing us to both discover you on a deep and profound level, you may wish to see me for a personal horoscope. This is where I take the current chart of the sky and layer this onto your natal chart. This method is called Transiting Astrology, which allows me to see how the current planets are affecting you. I am not a fortune teller, I cannot tell you exact events that will happen. Rather, I can tell you the flavour of events. The information that I will provide you is an understanding of the potential of your life and the lessons behind it. We explore the greater meanings of the situations that are unfolding.
This allows you to have more of an understanding of the “why” behind certain things in your life. If you have awareness of the lessons, you are granted objectivity of your situation. You are able to take a step back and see the bigger picture.
It is important to note that I can shed light, but it is still up to the individual to create action towards what you want and where you want to go.
60min - $100
Astrology is a powerful tool for relating with other people. It is known that every human processes and experiences reality differently to the next. Another person can share their experience with you but to understand someone else’s astrology, allows you an objective view into why they are, the way they are.
When we understand our own charts, we can begin to view our behaviours and personality objectively. This makes room for compassion, love and understanding. When we know the astrology of another, this objective compassion, love and understanding is able to be felt for them also. Through relationship astrology, we explore the dynamics between two people as individuals and together. We also take time to look into the dynamics of the relationship as its own separate entity, exploring any karmic connections or contracts that may need to play out. Are you holding each other back or are you pushing each other towards success? What are the key reasons you have been brought together? What do you have to learn and what do you have to teach?
Relationship astrology is either offered for one person, at the standard 1 hour price. Or Relationship astrology packages are charged at $300. This includes 3 consultations in total. One-on-one consulting with each individual and then a consultation with the 3 of us, for up to an hour, one week after. This method allows each individual to take in information and process individually, without having to reflect with their partner straight away. This makes room for deeper self-analysis and honesty.
60 min Individual Relationship Reading - $120
3 Part Couple’s Relationship Reading Package (2 x 60 minute individual readings & 1 x couples reading) - $300

Hannah’s first exposure to yoga was at a very young age, and she is forever grateful for such an early introduction to a practice that has so greatly shaped her life.
After practicing yoga for many years Hannah was drawn to complete her yoga teacher training out of a yearning for greater connection, understanding, and self-exploration. At her training, not only did Hannah begin her journey as a yoga teacher, but she also met the man who would later become her husband – an event which led her to leave her home of San Francisco and move across the world to Melbourne, Australia. Hannah currently calls Melbourne home and co-owns Gertrude Street Yoga Studio with her husband Jaspah.
Hannah primarily teaches vinyasa flow style classes, combining powerful fluidity with an emphasis on cultivating authenticity, creativity, and awareness of self. Yoga has been a lifelong practice that she is deeply appreciative of, and continually grateful to be able to share with others.

Kate Litwinko was born in Los Angeles, California. She began her journey with yoga during the beginning of her nursing career to find balance in an often stressful work environment. She was immediately drawn to the qualities yoga cultivated of self-reflection, peace of mind, strength and flexibility. After practicing intensively under the guidance of Jay Co, Bryan Kest, and Jerome Mercier in Santa Monica, Kate decided to take her 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga Teaching certification to deepen the understanding of her practice. She began teaching sporadically in the years that followed for several well-renowned teachers in Santa Monica, whilst continuing to work as a Registered Nurse.
Soon the travel bug hit, and Kate began a new journey working on private yachts in Mexico, California, and the South Pacific. Completing her yachting stint in New Zealand, Kate lived for a year and taught Vinyasa and Yin yoga in Hawkes Bay and Auckland. She then moved to Melbourne and continues to teach full time. Kate continues to deepen her yoga education through workshops, reading, and exploring the philosophies and teachings of yogis such as Tirumalai Krishnamacharya, TKV Desikachar, and Paul Grilley, and continues to draw upon the inspiration of her original teachers back home as well as amazing yogis she has met while traveling in various parts of the World.
Kate’s classes are constantly changing and growing the more she learns from her practice, although focus is always on linking breath with movement, moving wisely for your unique physical, mental, and emotional situation, and utilizing a therapeutic approach to yoga so it may be a lifelong practice.
Laura discovered yoga over 15 years ago to help calm the mind and stretch the body while working a busy corporate job in London. Over time as her physical practice developed she found yoga helped shed light on who she really was and what she really wanted to do.
This unfolded into a desire to go deeper into her practice, which led her to her first teacher training in India in 2014. This ignited her passion to teach and share yoga. Most recently, Laura has been studying with Tara Judelle and Scott Lyons of Embodied Flow TM.
Alongside practicing and teaching yoga, Laura likes to push her limits through endurance activities. In 2015 she completed a 9,000km cycling tour through Africa. She has now turned her corporate skills towards the non-profit and international development arena.
Laura’s style is a balance between a strong, playful slow vinyasa flow and a restoring yin with a focus on breath and listening to your inner voice. Her invitation is to find those moments of stillness, peace and flow on the mat, where we can create more space, richness and joy in our lives.

My classes tend to be slow and strong with a focus on interoception (that is, paying attention to your internal state).
I intend to make classes feel spacious with plenty of room for each person to adapt the class to their own wants and needs.
My classes are largely informed by my studies and work in psychology and are therefore secular and usually draw on psychological tools and techniques that can be soothing, help regulate ones’ thoughts and emotions and/or provide a framework for living with - and making sense of - thoughts, sensations and emotions.
Jess's classes are playful, experiential, rich and empowering designed to anchor us back home into our bodies so we can experience Self in its wholeness.
Whilst yoga began for Jess as simply a way to move gently and feel good within her body, over the years it developed into so much more — a practise which has offered her a sweet way to come back to herself, and meet life with ease.
She uses movement, asana, meditation, visualisation, breath, philosophy and felt sense to inspire awareness and aquire a deep sense of nourishment, strength, ease and connectivity in the human form.
Her classes are strongly influenced by Embodied Flow TM developed by her teachers Tara Judelle and Scott Lyons. She first studied with them in 2016. She has been devoted to yoga since 2008. Her intention as a teacher is to deeply embody everything she if offering, so that what comes from her to you in a class is an honest form of communication. Jess welcomes everyone to her classes, of all diversities, and regardless of their yoga experience. She invites you to contact her directly @jesssandral.yoga if you have any questions.

Expect to be challenged without feeling intimidated. Her compassionate, down to earth nature disguises progressive and challenging flows in a veil of accessibility. Whilst many yogis are initially drawn to her classes for the physical challenge and creative flows, its her modern and relatable philosophy, inspired playlists and genuinely open heart which she authentically weaves in that will keep you coming back to the mat with her.
Nisha began practicing yoga as a teenager in her hometown of Fremantle, with Sam Weinstein, and has now been practicing for thirteen years and teaching for six. She was brought up with Buddhist philosophy and traditions, but also draws from other philosophers and conceptual frameworks in her practice and teachings.
She is passionate about social justice, and believes mindfulness and yoga can be potent tools in equipping our community with the vision, resilience and determination to counter the inequities we see around us. In the class space, she aims to empower students to reveal patterns of thought and movement to themselves, and to experiment, confront and integrate. She prioritises strength and healing over the performative aspects of hatha yoga, and considers mindful asana as integral to supporting bodies as they age.
For Nisha, connection to core is essential, physically and energetically, and her classes are designed to help students engage with this deep power. With empathy and experience, knowledge of energetics and anatomy, she offers students a space where they can edge into and study the rich myriad of their own sensations and emotions.
A student of plant medicine, a teacher of movement & meditation, a lover of nature…Joanna aims to deliver authentic practices and techniques which honour a variety of ancient technologies. That authenticity remains a key focus through her classes, as she encourages gentle self enquiry and fosters deep connection to self utilising movement, breath and meditation.
Through holding space for self- exploration, under the name Lightness of Being, Joanna recognises that every body is unique and requires varying methods to embrace this personal exploration. As such, her offer encompasses many styles of Yoga (Kundalini, Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, Yoga Nidra) Qi Gong (from Traditional Chinese Medicine) along with Counselling and Western Herbal Medicine.
By shedding light on the body's inherent self-healing capacity and uncovering methods for the prevention of dis-ease, Joanna works holistically, coupling traditional healing with a science based application in providing a complete system of wellness.
The classes she facilitates are inclusive and open to all, regardless of individual prior experience. She describes her approach as a facilitator to be grounded, effective and intuitive.
Joanna continues to study and accumulate knowledge of the spiritual, emotional, energetic and physiological realms of being human, thereby cultivating a safe and nourishing place for personal growth, vitality and wellbeing.
